Randy was on Richard Simmon’s new show called "Dream Maker". There he surprised a big fan of his.

First he appeared on videotape in his USAR-1 uniform and in the background there was a rescue truck. He told the fan that he was very sad that he couldn't be there.

But then he appeared in the studio! This was a great surprise for the lucky fan.

September 8, 1999

On Wednesday, September 8, 1999 Randolph Mantooth answered question from fans for over 5 hours! The questions were submitted by the members of the alt.tv.emergency newsgroup. Randy himself doesn't have a computer and doesn't want one, so Hannah Shearer served as his accomplice by being the kind typist of his responses.

You can find some of the questions and answers in my November issue of the Randy Mantooth Newsletter or click here to find all questions and answers.
