episode along with Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner. Lee Majors became well-known as
the "Six Million Dollar Man". In his later series, "The Fall Guy", he
and Randolph Mantooth were reunited three different times. Lindsay Wager went on to
star in "The Bionic Woman". |
The young girl hopes that Owen Marshall and Jess Brandon (Lee Majors) can help her. She believes that her chances are not good because Lonnie cannot decide whether or not he should help Diana. However, Jess is able to persuade him that it is better to tell the truth in court rather than to think only of himself. |

Alias Smith and Jones (1971) "Stagecoach Seven" Young Dan Loomis (Randolph Mantooth) along with his pretty wife and baby, are travelling on the stagecoach to Mesa, Arizona. Little do they know that the wanted outlaws Hayes and Curry (who are also known as Smith and Jones) are also on the same stage. This proves to be a very dangerous situation when two groups of people try to take Hayes and Curry prisoner. Dan and his family find themselves caught in the cross-fire.

Adam 12 (1971) Neil Williams (Randolph Mantooth) is a young man with a troubled past.
After running into problems with the police in New York City, he moves to Los
Angeles. There, he gets a job at a riding school owned by a former cowboy movie
star. When money and a tresured gold belt buckle go missing, the finger of suspicion
is pointed directly at Neil. Emergency (1972-1977)

This particular episode was interesting in that it effectively portrayed the problems faced by young soldiers and the reasons for their desertion. At the end, Keith is exonerated, and everyone has a deeper understanding of the expectations of life. In case you missed it, an elderly gentleman who gives evidence for Keith can also be seen as Dr. Knott in Emergency.
Tennis player Bobby Howard (Randolph Mantooth) comes to Las Vegas to play in a tournament. Because he is threatened, Dan receives the order to take care of him. Dan is not enthusiastic about this because Bobby is a very unpleasant individual. He tears people to pieces and insults anyone who gets in his way. After Bobby also insults Dan, he decides to quit the job. Then Bobby's sister is kidnapped, and Bobby requests Dan's help. Although he doesn't want to, Dan realizes that Bobby is a changed man inside and helps him. Bobby fears for his sister's safety, and he tells Dan that he will intentionally lose his next game on the condition that his sister is brought back alive. Dan looks for Bobby's sister and finds her. When they arrive at the tennis court, Bobby is on the verge of losing the game. However, when he sees both Dan and his sister, Bobby begins to play as well as he's ever done and wins after all.
In this series we see a very different Randolph Mantooth. One who
is both humerous and even a little stupid. In his role of Lt. Bender, one is able to
clearly see Randy's great acting ability. The entire series depicts the war in an unusual way, including the introduction of a pink submarine with an all-female crew. A premise that cannot be taken seriously, but one that is still well-played.
Battlestar Galactica (1979) The Galactica brings an ancient starship under its control, on which are found six humans in a clod sleep. The strangers cannot survive in the atmosphere of the Galactica, so Adama decides to return them to their homeworld of Paradeen, which is ruled by a dark force. Sarah's father has built a beautiful house on Paradeen for Michael and the children,
but he is not alive when his daughter returns. The other human occupants of Paradeen are
also very suspicious. Starbuck and Apollo want to look for traces for the way to earth in the deserted city. This undertaking almost costs Starbuck his life because the oxygen supply on Paradeen is too low for the crew of the Galactica. When the evil force returns to exterminate the last people on Paradeen, Apollo and Starbuck suceed in arresting them. They are then able to return to the Galactica using the starship of the intruders.
Part III of the Kent family chronicles (The Bastard - The Rebels - The Seekers). The Seekers was the third and last TV movie based on John Jakes' Kent Family Chronicles (the others were The Bastard and The Rebels). Heading the huge all-star cast is Randolph Mantooth as Abraham Kent, son of elderly
Revolutionary War vet Andrew Kent (played by Martin Milner, replacing the first two films'
Andrew Stevens), who has resettled in the treacherous Northwest Territory. Part One of
this two-part, four-hour production finds young Abraham trying out a series of
occupations, while his brother Gilbert (George Deloy) goes into his father's publishing
business. Part Two takes us up to the War of 1812, as seen through the eyes of Jarod and
Amanda Kent Another fatherly role for Brian Keith, he plays a trapper who helps young Jarod Kent (Timothy P. Murphy) to find back his cousin Amanda kidnapped by awful Reverand Blackthorn (Stuart Whitman). A year later, they find her happy with an Arapahoe husband (Donald Mantooth) and a baby. Love Boat (1979) Alan Billingslay has invited his friend on a cruise, and she would like to meet his father. Alan's father is not enthusiastic about escorting his son, but when Libby comes on board the ship he is fascinated by her. Libby, too, is no longer enamored with Alan. During the cruise, Alan tries to get Libby's attention again, but she would rather spend her time with his father. This makes Alan sad, but he understands that he cannot force Libby to love him. At the end, Alan knows that Libby and his father make a better couple than he and Libby ever would.
The Angels get the order to find a killer in Hawaii who's intention is to kill the president of an international peace movement. Unfortunately, nobody recognizes the voice of the killer, and all members of a tourist party become suspect. The tourist party includes a Dr. Mark Williams and, as Julie attempts to photograph him, she falls onto his balcony. She and he engage in a conversation. As they talk, Dr. Williams tells Julie that he took the first Hawaii-bound plane possible as he believes his wife is having an affair. She suggests that he talk to his wife about his suspicions, so that he will know the truth. Meanwhile, the other Angels and Bosley are searching for the killer. They discover that there is more than one killer in the club. Just before the killer is able to take action, the Angels catch him. Dr. Williams takes to heart what Julie has told him and calls his wife. Mrs. Williams then flies to Hawaii to join him.
Roark's godchild Delphine has inherited a special magic power from her mother. Her future husband does not know about it, and Delphine travels to Fantasy Island because she would like to get rid of this power. She pleads with Roark for help. Paleontologist, Dr. Paul Todd (Randolph Mantooth) and his assistant, Elizabeth Drake (Annette Funicello), have come to FI to fulfill a dream. Dr. Todd believes that there is something missing in his life, and he would like to find it on Fantasy Island.
Spa Petite specializes in supplying male hookers for their female clientele. Todd Peterson is one of them. Spa owner, Waverly, extorts 40% of the hookers' fees. To get Todd to understand this, Waverly comes down on him hard in order to intimidate him. Although he doesn't like it, Dan offers to help Todd. As Todd is on his way to talk to Dan, he is attacked by Waverly's bodyguards and badly injured. Dan finds him and brings him to the hospital. Together, they look for the criminals.
The Fall Guy (1983) Fargo is afraid pat will recognize him from the past, so he hires two thugs to keep him away from a car race. The Fall Guy (1984) Problems arise at the Special Olympics.
Bridge Across Time (1985) Some clever businessmen rebuild the old London Bridge in Arizona. Only one of the stones of this historical construction is missing. Legend has it that it disappeared during the days of Jack the Ripper. When somebody finds the stone and fishes it out of the Thames to insert it into its proper place in the bridge, a brutal murderer of women shows up in town. Randolph Mantooth and David Hasselhoff appeared in this film together and were reunited in "Baywatch" seven years later.
Jessica receives and invitation to an excavation. Upon attending the event, she meets the Indian, Raymond Two Crows. He isn't enthusiastic about the excavation, because he believes that it will desecrate the graves of his forefathers. He allows his bitter feelings to be known by everybody. Every night during dinnertime, a stranger is heard singing a sad song on the hill. Then, one evening, the wife of the expedition leader shoots the individual, and he falls from the rocks. It is discovered that the shot doesn't appear to have been the cause of his death, so Jessica begins her search for a murderer.
The Fall Guy (1986) As a result of his gambling, Jerry (Randolph Mantooth) has lost all his money, his house, and his wife. Desiring an end to this life, he puts out a contract on himself. Yet, he suddently wins the lottery. Jerry wants to nullify the conctract, but his killers want his millions. True Confessions (1986) "True Confessions" is a half-hour dramatic series that portrayed people in trouble, like criminals, murder, families that didn't get along. The stories were inspired by real events and real people, but they changed the names and situations. It aired in America around 1986. The host was Bill Bixby, an American actor who played The Incredible Hulk. On this show, Randy played a policeman who beat his wife, and because he was a policeman, nobody on the police force would help her. Finally, at the end, she had to shoot and kill him because he was about to beat her up.
A pshychopath is indiscriminately setting fires to houses thereby
killing innocent people. Because Earl Stringer (Randolph Mantooth) is at a stalemate in
his investigation, he asks his old friend MacGyver for help.
Baywatch (1992) A rock concert will be taking place at the pier, and Governor Dickson is scheduled to make a speech at this event. Because it is a political appearance, there is fear of an attack. Special Agent Sam Dietz (Randolph Mantooth) is assigned to prevent this. For days, C.J. has been dreaming about an unoccupied Scarab driving toward the pier, which she can do nothing to stop. She does not realize that she is dreaming about a future event. Barnett is addressed directly. Wendy is an acquaintance of Garner's sister, Janice.
For some time Randy played the villainous Richard Halifax on this show. Unfortunately, none of these episodes were ever shown on German television. Those that are aired are nearly eight years old. We hope that one day we will be able to see Randy in this role, as he did an excellent job of portraying this character.
In the soap opera Loving, Randy was seen for several years as Clay Alden. He returned to the show later as Detective Alex Masters. He continued as this character when Loving was reborn as The City. The City was cancelled in March of 1997.
Diagnosis Murder (1997) Robert Fuller and Randolph Mantooth are teamed up again in this episode. Nearly twenty years after doing so in Emergency, Randy dons a fire helmet to help fight a fire on the outskirts of town. It is later discovered that his daughter is the one who set this fire to cover up the murder of her boyfriend.
Walker, Texas Ranger (1997) Inconsiderate horse owner LeCrown (Randolph Mantooth) kills a horse, along with its trainer and rider, that has defeated his own in order to secure his financial future.
J.A.G. (1997) Harm and Bud investigate the mysterious crash of a helicopter. Witnesses say that the helicopter collided with a U.F.O. Harm and Bud discover a hidden base where a secret airplane is being constructed for the military. When Harm begins to get close to the truth, he is threatened by government officials who want him to discontinue his investigation.
